The first phase of the logistics center of Bandar Abbas Aria Container Terminal, with an area of 12,000 square meters, in a completely specialized space with a capacity of more than 30,000 tons, has been designed with the latest methods in a modern warehousing system and has been prepared for operation at a cost of more than 6 billion Tomans. The location of Shahid Rajaee Port in the North-South Corridor and the location of this complex in a special economic zone are among the distinguishing features of this terminal.
This warehouse is designed to include two separate spaces: cellular shelving for palletized goods and open space for bulk goods. It is worth noting that all parts of this warehouse (shelved space, open warehouse space) have a yard or location for goods, which speeds up the search for goods and speeds up the performance of operators.
Today, advanced ports are looking for new ways to satisfy customers, including rapid container stripping, in which after the container is unloaded from the ship and enters the terminal, the containers are quickly stripped by the logistics unit, and after the goods are unloaded in the warehouse, the empty container is returned to the relevant shipping depot.
